CPAAAN ANNOUNCES JOHN ROGER SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2012

Since 2003 CPAAAN has awarded academic scholarships each year to children of Norfolk Police Department active duty sworn officers. The continued success of the John Roger Academic Scholarships given to dependents of active duty sworn Norfolk Police Department officers is particularly gratifying in that it has not only endured but has grown in the dollar amount and the number of awards. We are pleased to say that 2012 will be the tenth consecutive year that scholarships have been provided.

This year there will be three scholastic scholarships awarded each in the amount of $1,000.00. As of June 2012 CPAAAN will have provided more than $20,000.00 in scholarships.

Click HERE to view and print an application. Please note the required attachments that are to accompany the application.

The deadline for submitting the application is June 4. The awards will be presented at the membership meeting on June 19, 2012.

The winners will be selected by Dr. Lawrence Dotolo, President of the Virginia Tidewater Consortium for Higher Education.
