Barbeque Fund Raiser

It was a huge success. Just like that, 100 pounds of scrumptious North Carolina style barbeque was gone. You know the old saying....when its gone....its gone. The organizer of the event, Ms. Marceline Peet, along with her fellow residents and some key CPAAAN members served up lots of sliced or minced barbeque, coleslaw and Yvette's delicious Pina Colada cake to satisfy our hungry friends, residents, visitors and supporters.

We would like to thank Ms. Paula Tolson, the property manager of Stonebridge Manor for providing the facility and the support necessary to make this a successful Scholarship fund raiser for the children of active duty Norfolk Police Officers.

Below you will find various photos taken at the event.

Ms. Peet dishes it up, and the postman gets a generous serving.

Margaret Anne Craig describes the menu to a guest while Ms. Peet keeps it coming.

Doesn't that look delicious?

We keep the Redskin fans happy!

John and Frankie Donohue didn't eat breakfast to allow room for a tasty lunch. They look quite content !

Ms. Peet kept the customers happy like these folks from the Sheriff's Department who came to support the event.

Mr.and Mr. Williams, members of CPAAAN receive special attention from Ms. Peet who is also a member. She never neglects her other customers though, especially when they are fellow residents.

One of the residents of Stonebridge passed on her approval of the Fundraiser and all the volunteers who brought a little kindness into her life.

Doesn't that look inviting?

A Thank You from CPAAAN….

CPAAAN officers and Norfolk Police Department representatives met with Stonebridge Manor staff and residents to present a Certificate of Appreciation for helping to make the recent Barbeque fundraiser a success.
